Nico Sorrell is a realtor with Summit Commercial and has been a real estate professional for over 4 years. Nico graduated from Howard University in 2017 with a BS in political science and immediately obtained his real estate salesperson's license after graduation. While working for Hawkings Realty Group he closed transactions with high profile clients including the Eastern Market Development Corporation, and has also participated in real estate transactions throughout the City of Detroit, including properties located in historical areas such as Boston Edison and West Village. Nico also serves as a key member in two local nonprofit groups, Dyad Ventures and Detroit Future Trends where he oversees the process of rehabbing distressed properties, strategizing land acquisitions, and managing tenant-landlord relations.
